Blockbuster Bar (Bucket Listers)

My first project with Bucket Listers was the Blockbuster Bar, located on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

I developed this concept from the ground up, managing every aspect from production requirements and design elements to partner relationships, social media, special events, and the creation of a custom menu.

The bar was thoughtfully designed to evoke a deep sense of nostalgia, transporting visitors back to the golden era of video rentals. Shelves were lined with VHS tapes that cleverly doubled as menus, while the decor featured iconic movie posters and memorabilia that resonated with guests, sparking fond memories and heartfelt connections.
